No smiles on Wednesday!

A difficult game on Wednesday evening, saw Newcastle United held to a draw by hard working QPR, however, their goal took a huge deflection and not for that, Harper would have had it covered.

For me, the most disappointing part of the game ws the penalty miss, maybe Ranger should have taken it, afterall, he is a striker, and he is desperate for a goal, but up step’s Guthrie to take what can only be called, a rubbish spot kick.

Poor perfromances also caused us problems, Guthrie and Butt both had terrible game’s, Alan Smith showing his class and proving that he can be a star at this level.  Danny Simpson got the sponsor’s man of the match but Smudger for me, should have taken the accolade.

We move on to Briston on Saturday, we need to get behind the team and take the three points, with Boro, Blackpool and West Brom all dropping points through the week, we’ve already dropped a clamnger by dropping two at home.
