Nottingham Forest Away – Travel Info and Guide

City Ground

Saturday see’s a late kick off thanks to the TV camera’s but nevertheless, we are back in the land of domestic football living, and thank god, these international break’s only cause DIY havoc at home. So, to the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest – The City Ground
Capacity: 30,602 (all seated)
Address: City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ
Main Telephone No: 0115 982 4444
Ticket Office: 0871 226 1980
Team Nickname: The Reds
Year Ground Opened: 1898

Both ends of the ground were re-developed during the 1990’s, at one end, the Bridgford Stand houses away fans in the lower tier and opposite, the Trent End, is the most recent addition to the ground with a number of rows of seating that are enclosed by shaded glass.

On one side there’s two tiered stand, built in 1980 and once called the Executive Stand, it was recently renamed the Brian Clough Stand. Facing this is a smaller and much older Main Stand, looks rubbish in comparison.

Drinking Around Nottingham

We will bring more on this shortly, we have a Nott’s Forst fan compiling his list of away friendly pubs and bar’s, so come back soon.

Getting There

Leave the M1 at Junction 26 and take the A610 towards Nottingham and then signs for Melton Mowbray. Cross the River Trent and you will see the ground on your left.
