We’d like to welcome Talk Of The Tyne member Dac101 as one of our newest contributors, DAC will try to keep you all up to date with all that’s happening in the Daily drivel…please feel free to leave him some comments…
Paul Scholes constantly fouls opposition players yet it is accepted by commentators as just a “typical Scholesy tackle”, well you know that doesn’t disguise the fact that in reality he is just a dirty barsteward.
In the same way Newcastle keep grinding out results (like champions do!), but when it gets to the point where you are grinding out every result then maybe it’s because we really aren’t that good? Hopefully new boy Routledge will provide some much needed quality and invention in midfield!

With our defence already down to the bare bones the last thing we needed to see last night was Jose pulling up with a hamstring injury. He has been arguably our best player this season and we have no cover at left back (then again if Pancrate is now a right back maybe Nile Ranger fancies a run out at left fullback!).

On the transfer front, after the successful capture of Williamson, Hughton is still being linked with several defenders and now seems to be intent on just signing the tallest people he can find.
Martin “Tiny” Taylor:

Maybe the continued search for a centre back suggests that the rumours about Steven Taylor being out for the season may be accurate!
Hughton says he will monitor the Victor Moses situation – I think being allowed to spend a little bit of pocket money has gone to his head (last line of article):

Marlon Harewood is so Lazy that Villa no longer want him, apparently he is available on a free in the summer; nobody tell Chris:

The Mackems slumped to another defeat and it looks increasingly likely that we may swap divisions with them in the summer, quality double agent work from Steve Bruce: http://www.journallive.co.uk/safc/safc-mat…61634-25702817/?
In other Championship news Strachan reckons he can hold onto Adam Johnson, he can’t!
West Brom think that they are in with a chance of buying Victor Moses, they aren’t.
Skysports “understands” that West Brom have agreed a deal with Feyenoord for Dutch international Andwele Slory:

Meanwhile, Craig Bellamy got hit with a coin in the Man Utd game, while I can’t stand the lad it was still a terrible incident for which Man Utd will undoubtedly go unpunished: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/…it-by-coin.html
